Medford: Webb Research Group, 1992. Hardcover. 237 pg. hardcover, 8.5 x 11 inches. Ex-libris copy with call number crossed out on front cover, barcode on rear cover, renewal slip pasted in to back page, else very good. Third printing. Baker, a lifelong conservative, was infamous for her opposition to the designation of Manzanar as a historic site, the use of the phrase "concentration camp" to describe the sites where Japanese Americans were incarcerated, and any form of redress for Japanese Americans. She believed that Japanese Americans were free to leave at any point. At one point she assaulted a Nisei veteran who was testifying at a hearing of the Commission on Wartime Relocation and Internment of Civilians.

Reprint of the 1952 edition (resembles the 1952 Chapman and Grimes edition, but with the jacket flap copy re-typeset on the first leaf and the title page modified to remove the imprint information). Right-wing justification of reasonable racism and opposed to 'equalitarians.' A good portion is a dedicated rebuttal to Gunnar Myrdal and An American Dilemma. Campbell was also active in atheist circles.
