New York: Patriot Party, 1970. Newspaper. 16p., tabloid format, paper toned, horizontal fold crease, previous owner's name in pen on first page top margin else good condition. Masthead has Confederate flag and People's Party logo (fists breaking chains). Together with the Black Panthers, the Young Lords, and later with other groups, they were part of the original "Rainbow Coalition." The Party's Program begins on page 2, with the slogan "The South will rise again- only this time with the North, and all oppressed people throughout the world." Includes an interview with 'Turco' about its history. Much on solidarity with the Black Panthers. Centerfold is a Confederate flag overprinted with revolutionary slogans.
