Oakland: Exitstencilisms & Southern Records / PM Press, 2012. CD_rom. Originally released in 1985 on vinyl, this is a 124 page perfect-bound book of 50 poems by Rimbaud, each illustrated by Vaucher. With the accompanying audio CD of songs composed by Rimbaud and sung by Libertine, remastered in 2008 and now released for the first time on CD. as new in shrink wrap.

Prag: (Robert Gerche), 1913. xlvii, 240p., hardbound in utilitarian library binding, plain boards with hand-lettered cloth backstrip. Ex library, has a "Withdrawn" stamp and a pencilled note reading "576 pages on LC card," evidently there's some discrepancy with the Library of Congress record. Whatever the case, this item is sound and complete, a very good copy for reading or reference. Beitrage zur deutsch-bohmischen Volkskunde. XI Band.

New York: Broadside, 1962. Newsletter. Mimeographed 8.5x11 inch newsletter devoted to the "topical song" scene, 7 leaves, "Communist front" penciled in upper left corner, otherwise very good. Each issue includes the sheet music and/or lyrics for a number of songs. This issue includes pieces by Malvina Reynolds, Gil Turner, Ernst Marrs, Maurice Sugar, Martha Cass, and others.

Not to be confused with the NYC Broadside, which was hugely influential during the '60s folk music revival. This has short opinion pieces, news items, and record reviews, along with schedules for Boston and New England coffeehouse folk music. Many small ads for local and folkie-related businesses. Cover photo of Chris Smither. Peter Stampfel has a column and as usual there is notation and lyrics for a recently composed folk song, this issue's by Chuck Mitchell. Issue features the Fifth Annual Broadside Poll Results. Smither is favorite new Boston performer.

Hong Kong: Wen tong shu dian, 1962. Two slender booklets, 55p., 28p., from a series on Chinese folk dances. Both include diagrams of the steps and musical notation with the lyrics. Zhongguo min jian wu dao.

Poster design is credited to "lastminute lichtenheld of Madison." Blurry image of Santa getting arrested, from Michael Lesy's book "Real Life.

Nice copy, cover corner-tips are fractionally turned, spine rims a bit bumped, an otherwise sound copy that is not marked in any way.
