Description:
no city, England: Rupert Hart-Davis, unpublished ephemera, 1920. Ephemera. Light cardstock folded once to make a 3.5x5 inch rectangular card featuring the graphic in a printed intaglio frame. Opens up to other signs of professional production and the presenters' names in nibbed inkpen. A bit worn and dusty, good exemplar. . . We were about to toss to scavengers when we grokked the signature, which could have as easily been Rupert's.

Lucca, Befana: Tecnografica Lucca, 1932. Pamphlet. [12]p., stapled pamphlet in 8.5x6 inch buff wraps printed black in red and green printed panel, with other touches of luxury: leading initial is gilded and find a tipped-on illustration from photography. Upper corner bears numerous small dog-ears, some dust-soil, slight foxing, and a light vertical crease through the whole fascicle. A fair to good copy. Concerns a local holiday cookie and appears to celebrate Italian fascism and Catholicism both.
