[70]p., staplebound pamphlet in 7.5x5 inch decorated wraps, texts in Turkish, English, German, Italian, Arabic (cursive) and French; texts and photos printed on glazed paperstock throughout, mild signs of handling and age but perfectly clean, sound and unmarked: a very good copy.

Seattle: KC & Associates, 1990. Paperback. Unpaginated or variously paginated xeroxed documents in facsimile plus transcripts keyboard-set, copyshop binding ("velo," but no acetate cover leaf), perhaps two hundred single-side standard leaves under professionally-printed cover leaf. Slight handling soil, a very good copy. Referred to within as third part of a "white paper" on the Gulf War, following separate installments v.I ("Hussein, Oil, CPI, Drug War...") and v.II ("Hussein's Mythical Nukes..and Iraq's Military Power"). Third part only. Largely an indictment of George Herbert Walker Bush in and out of the presidential warmonger role, materials from public journalism and private interviews, unclassified documents, weapons-provider ads and so forth.

n.p.: Trafford Publishing, 2009. Paperback. v + 165p., trade paperback, very good, with signed promotional letter by author laid-in. Author self-describes as "an unaffiliated freelance writer living in Wisconsin." From the back cover: "...the intent is to use the Greek experience in the Peloponnesian War as an analogue for a critique of American foreign policy. Fiction and farce facilitate this comparison.

Springfield OH: Crowell-Collier Publishing Co, 1942. Magazine. 148p., slick magazine in 11.5x8.5 inch color wraps, some color within. Pervasively damp-affected; so far all adhesions we have addressed and freed are without tear-damage, althoug a fine fullpage colorphoto portrait of a very young Red Skelton and wife has a quarter-inch marginal tear, not affecting graphic. It could be that the heavy application of printers ink to the vivid photo, served to increase the cling. At any rate, the purchaser must do most of the partings to uncover the many ads &c. Covers and adjacent leaves exhibit migrated rust from staple-binding. Find some good colorwork to the military pix; the point of this magazine appears to be to drum up patriotism amongst women. See p.69 for labor/management and "the nation's war production". As is.

New York: ACC, 1976. Newsletter. Four-page newsletter published by supporters of Chile's Pinochet regime, 8.5x11 inches, very good. The ACC was registered as a foreign agent of the Consejo Chileno Norteamericano, promoting Pinochet's interests in the United States. Comments on US coverage of events in Chile, arguing that a Communist propaganda campaign has given Pinochet a bad rap and whitewashed Allende's legacy. Leads with a story about the freeing of political prisoners (without mention of those who were killed by the regime).

Phoenix, AR: America's Promise, 1980. Handbill. 8.5x14 inch double-sided handbill; map illustrations, slight middle fold, in very good condition. "Pray for more 50,000 watt clear channel stations.

Upland, CA: Christ Truth Radio Crusade (Prisoners Bible Broadcast), n.d.. Pamphlet. 64p., 5.5x8.5 inches; minor soil alongfore-edge, wrappers slightly toning, and a small stain on the rear wrap, else in very good condition. Radio program aimed at guiding U.S. prisoners towards Christianity.

Seoul: United Nations Command / Military Armistice Commission, 1983. Pamphlet. Unpaginated, about 22p., softbound, a small oblong pamphlet in 5x9 inch skyblue wraps, a little edgeworn but quite sound, and entirely clean and unmarked. UNC PAM #360-1.

n.pl: [Frank Duncan & Co. Ltd.], [c192-?]. [19]p., of b&w plates picturing Auckland architecture, aerial landscapes, and recreational activities, sewn binding; wraps are mildly soiled and somewhat edgeworn, second page plate folds out into four panels displaying a landscape photograph, however, two of the three creases contain 1 inch tears, else in good condition. Tourist Series No. 29.

London: Published for Penns in the Rocks Press by William Collins of London, 1941. Hardcover. 48p., plates as called for and well-reproduced, a superior catchpenny. Hardbound in 9x6.5 inch decorated paper-over-boards and enclosed in the ditto dust jacket. Nice book in nice condition; front free endpaper bears a neat small ownership datelined 1943, we find flecks of foxing here and there, a sound copy with just a bit of edgewear to boards and to jacket. The British Commonwealth in Pictures.

Oakland: AK Press, 2007. Paperback. 460p., softbound in 9x6 inch glossy wraps, a very nice copy, entirely clean, sound and unmarked.

n.p.: The Hispanic American Historical Review, 1969. Pamphlet. Offprint, pp.703-719, 9x6 inch plain printed wraps, a single signature side-stapled in very good condition (slightest signs of handling, none of age) inscribed and signed in full in February 1970. Primarily a defense of Las Casas' "Very Brief Account" by dint of methodic correlation with other accounts that one-by-one demolish the notion that the invasive Spanish did more good than harm. Nope, Las Casas rules.

New York: Bantam Books, 1964. Mass Market Paperback. Unpaginated softbound, a 6x8 inch oblong having curiously minimalist publishing information; following a barren title- and copyright-leaf all the rest are gotten up as photographic postcards to be sent to candidate RFK: verso provided with postcard layout, recto the b&w photojournal image with joke-balloon. Mild edgewear, one corner-tip fractionally turned, slight general toning, a sound clean unmarked copy. Possibly an anti-Kennedy hit piece; note the heartless 1964 timing, less than one year after the public execution of his brother. P.S. 1 - Bantam Special #1. FYI, the flimsy paperstock could not be sent through US mails, it would crumple quickly.
