Description:
Warszawa: Panstwowy Instytut Wydawniczy, 1975. Hardcover. 309p., numerous b&w and color plates (mostly churches and illuminated mss), text is entirely in Armenian. Hardbound in 9x6 inch openweave grey cloth boards titled red and decorated in blind, and enclosed in the dust jacket. Mild shelfwear to book itself, jacket is dirty, edgeworn, and has a three-inch verso tape repair. An else sound copy, clean within and unmarked. This translation renders the original English language issue, but at 1975 is too early to use Lang's expanded 1978 edition, which was the fruit of author's 1978 visit to Erevan with continuous collection of material on-site in Bulgaria, Romania, France, Italy, Austria, the United States and Syria. The diaspora, Lang said there will be treated of in "an entirely new sequel" which will also describe the holocaust in more detail --apparently that was published as "The Armenians a people in exile," London 1981.

Description:
n.p.: unpublished, 1988. Manuscript / Typescript. One dozen legal-sized manuscript leaves bearing typed names, dates, marriage and divorce notices, loose-leaf, held with a single paperclip. Paperstock is lightweight, semi-acidic with toning, smudging and an ink squiggle to first leaf (the one that features the holograph instruction) and a large area of offset discoloration to verso of terminal leaf. Corrections have been made already in this photo-copy, more are being invited. As is, doubtless a correct gathering. No contact information is supplied, but many entries include middle names as well as birth and death dates. FYI, the "TXs" in the handwritten message is surely a slightly incorrect "Thanks

Description:
New York/Jerusalem: The Amercan Academy for Jewish Research, 1987. Hardcover. xv, 247p., neat presswork on alkaline bright-white paperstock and hardbound in turquoise boards gilt. The two lower corner-tips of casing are both bumped, slightly affecting textblock, which is otherwise in perfect shape. Were it not for that damage book would be as new: sound as well as clean and unmarked. Makes a crucial point widely ignored, from manuscripts widely misinterpreted, apparently in favor of religious tolerance. AAJR Texts and Studies volume VI.
