[16p] 9x12 inches, officers, board, producers and crew, program, nominations (with added gold star denoting winners!) rusty staples else very good booklet in stapled pictorial wraps. Previous owner placed a gold star next to all the winners. "Oliver!" beat out "Funny Girl!" But the Best Actress award was split between Hepburn in "Lion in Winter" & Streisand in "Funny Girl!" So many musicals! Sigh... the last gasp of the Hollywood musical.

[Beverly Hills and Desert Hot Springs], 1990. Album. White leatherette three-ring binder photo album holding thirty-one sheets containing sixty photos, mostly b&w 8x10 professional shots and film stills but also many candid b&w and color shots, three contact sheets of Mazursky as an actor in various costumes from around 1961-62. Also laid in are five paper documents including an American Film cover, a special screening invitation for "Moscow on the Hudson," and most interestingly, his Varsity Masquers Kayfer Award for supporting actor for the 1949-50 season. Many of the photos in the album are by Alan Pappe, several with his signature and date at bottom. The photos are mounted on self-adhesive backing. Thus they are well-preserved, but would be difficult to remove. Berkeley, CA: Red Mountain Tribe, 1969. Newspaper. 32 p., monochrome cover wrapper and centerspread, folded tabloid (11.5x17 inches), evenly toned, p11 misprinted and blurry, else very good condition. Exterior headlines: "Anti-war Mobilization / Million to March / Bring the War Home!" Content starts with small atrocity stories (G.I. resistance paper quashed, CBW) and go on to Vietnam, then reportage about Bobby Seale, a "Pigathon" at Los Angeles Black Panther office, the Chicago 8 trial, a short interview with Emory Douglas (Panther artist; has a vignette photoportrait of him), gays vs. KFOG (protest against on-air phobic remarks); the monochrome doublespread is an on-set Hollywood piece on filming "The Strawberry Statement." Amongst the numerous remaining stories we note one on Ysidro Macias, "imprisoned Chicano student leader," he's denied bail.

This title, not in Gunn nor Lubbers-Moore appears to involve a mass-murder at a Hollywood star's mansion with bloody graffiti on the walls. Echoes of the Manson family. Includes a transvestite character.

We have seen two versions; this (slightly larger) version has a line of text at the bottom with contact information for participants (the other printed on standard 8 1/2 x 11 inch sheets lacks this contact information). Announces the second Gay Pride Parade held on Hollywood Boulevard. After no other printer would agree to print this handbill, the organizers found Peace Press, an anti-war collective, willing to do the work.
