Description:
New York: the newsweekly / Guardian Pamphlets, 1963. Newspaper. Unfastened newsprint leaves folded to make 8p., a bit toned but not fragile, mild signs of handling & edgewear, a nice copy. Reissue in standard tabloid form (they call it "pamphlet" and a "tabloid-size pamphlet") of the December 19, 1963 Guardian, "based largely on a five-page brief on the Oswald case..written by Mark Lane" --now with seven pages of text & a one-page subscription form. New material includes reader response page. Contemporary reprint of the first cogent Oswald-didn't-do-it scenario in print; we now have multiple copies available. When we held only one copy, we had this special issue at fifty bucks, but we've found a stash. FYI, there were several issues of the Guardian with substantial materials dug up by Mark Lane. Description:
n.p., 1962. [24p.], staplebound pamphlet. The cover bears a portrait of Kennedy morphing into Mad Magazine's Alfred E. Newman. Several pages of text have a blue pen X across them, as if to express opposition to their content. Seven pages of original but anonymous text, written in the context of the showdown over Soviet missiles in Cuba - between which is sandwiched a copy of Castro's famous speech. Much of the original text taunts the reader as a brainwashed oaf for believing Washington's positions.
