Washington, D. C.: GPO, 1964. 1,300 [Part I] plus variously paginated supplements bound together [Part II] much lengthier; about 3,000p together. Kennedy-era appropriations. Complete text, fine copies, being Representative George P. Miller's set specially bound with his name on the cover, red leather labels gilt, nifty printed tabs, expertly-applied multicolored marbling of textblock edges. Miller was one of two Californians on the select committee, along with Patrick Minor Martin. Chair was Carl Elliott of Alabama. House of Representatrives 88th congress first session. P.515, volume one, 22 November 1963, Wernher von Braun opens the session reading a long prepared speech. P.603, news of the shooting, adjournment. These fundings were, many of them, earmarked for the space race.
