Freud offers to Mrs. Wolff to recommend her daughter to a physician at the Berlin Poliklinik, and he describes the financial details and the schedule of treatment at the Institute. The Berlin Poliklinik was opened in 1920, after Freud's 1918 proposition to create institutions and out-patient clinics where treatment is free. This is one of Freud's greatest achievements and a frequently overlooked contribution to public health reform. .
