The faux leather covers are lightly bumped at the spine ends and corners. The unclipped dust jacket, sleeved in mylar, is uniformly corner clipped, worn and lightly sunned on the spine, abraded on the corners and spine ends, has a closed tear on the base of the front flap, another running horizontally on on the spine, and is spotted on the rear panel. This is an oversize book; priority and international mailings will require additional postage.

The volume is edge rubbed, toned on the perimeters, and has some streaking and spotting on the pastedowns and endpapers (as from an old jacket protector - although there is no evidence that this was a circulated copy). The dust jacket is uniformly corner clipped (price of $2.00 is intact), edge rubbed with some light chipping, and has three closed tears (longest is 5/8" on the base of the front panel near the spine joint. The jacket is now protected in mylar.

The volume is lightly bumped at the corners, gently pushed at the spine ends, and is presented with two dog-eared pages from a previous reader. The edge rubbed, price clipped, dust jacket has light scraping to the folds and both panels. The jacket is now protected in mylar.

Limited to 1475 copies, this is an recorded letter copy (presumably 26 copies), lettered "T". Laid in is an unevenly toned 3" x5" card SIGNED, at a later date, by Erskine Cardwell. The volume, protected with an acetate sleeve, has a gently sun washed spine, some light wrinkling on the first and last few pages and bookseller's pencilled notes on the front endpaper. The slipcase is soiled and edge worn with joint splits and tears.

The volume is bumped on the spine ends, sunned along the top edges, and the armoral bookplate of collector, Rolland Comstock, is on the front pastedown under the jacket flap. The unclipped dust jacket, protected in mylar, is edge rubbed with chips and abrasions. There is a 3/4" closed tear on the bottom of the rear joint and the spine is light to moderately toned.

The volume is lightly pushed on the spine ends, has an erasure on the top of the front endpaper, asmall abrasion on each pastedown (as if holding the jacket in place, except they don't match up), and a piece of tape on the rear pastedowen underneath the flap (serving no useful purpose). A bookplate of noted collector Rolland Comstock is on the front pstedown underneath the flap. The edge worn, unclipped, dust jacket, protected in a sleeve, is sunned on the spine (almost rendering the title illegible), lightly chipped at the spine crown and corners, and has a 1/2" closed tear on the top of each facing panel.
