About This Item

Duell, Sloan and Pearce, 1951. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good+/Very Good-. Signed. Inscribed and SIGNED by Erskine Caldwell on the front endpaper. The volume is lightly bumped on the spine ends, has a bit of soiling on the rear panel, and has the armorial bookplate of collector, Rolland Comstock, on the front pastedown under the jacket flap. The unclipped dust jacket, protected in a plastic sleeve, has edge and fold chips (to a depth of 1/4" on the top of the front panel), is abraded on the spine crown, and has some light soiling on the rear panel.
