New York, Duell, Sloan And Pearce, 1942-01-01. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good-. Signed. SIGNED, without inscription, by Erskine Caldwell on the front endpaper. The volume is bumped on the spine ends and there is some offsetting on the front endpaper from something having previously been laid in. The uniformly corner clipped dust jacket (price of $2.50 is present), has a seller's price sticker on the rear flap, is lightly edge rubbed, and has some soiling on the rear panel. The jacket is protected in a plastic sleeve.
