The Viking Press, Inc, 1935-01-01. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine. Signed. Slipcase Condition: Good+. Limited to 1475 copies, this is an recorded letter copy (presumably 26 copies), lettered "T". Laid in is an unevenly toned 3" x5" card SIGNED, at a later date, by Erskine Cardwell. The volume, protected with an acetate sleeve, has a gently sun washed spine, some light wrinkling on the first and last few pages and bookseller's pencilled notes on the front endpaper. The slipcase is soiled and edge worn with joint splits and tears.
