Description:
The Hoax of the Twentieth Century: The Case Against the Presumed Extermination of European Jewry is a book by Northwestern University electrical engineering professor and Holocaust denier Arthur Butz. The book was originally published in 1975 in the United Kingdom by Anthony Hancock's Historical Review Press, known as a Holocaust denial publisher. Butz argues that Nazi Germany did not exterminate millions of Jews using homicidal gas chambers during World War II but that the Holocaust was a propaganda hoax.
Small repair to the rear of the spine, otherwise feels unread.

ca. 1963. Original publicity photograph of the four, image 8 x 6 1/4 inches, professionally laid down on light card. Unfortunately the ink of the signatures have badly faded, although some still visible they are clearer when viewed with a raking light. Lennon has signed above his head whilst the others have signed below. Loss of surface to the base affecting the printed caption and just touching Ringo Star's signature. Small chip out of Lennon's nose. Ben Nussbaum in his book "The Beatles: Celebrating 50 Years of Beatlemania" captioned this photograph with a John Lennon quote "When the Beatles were depressed thinking that the group was going nowhere and this is a [bad] deal and wer'e in a [bad] dressing room, I'd say 'where are we going fellows?' and they'd go 'To the top Johhny' and I'd say 'Where's that fellows?' and they'd say 'To the toppermost of the poppermost' and I'd say 'right' and we'd all sort of… Read More

Errington notes "an unconfirmed print-run of 250 copies is generally accepted. Bloomsbury, however, provides a figure of 150 copies" (pp. 470-1). Fine, unread condition.
