On the half title page, the book is signed by Philip L. Phillips, believed to be the son of the subject of this work. Unfortunately, the author of this work, Dr. Billy M. Jones, passed away on October 27, 2007, in San Angelo, Texas. One of the Oklahoma Trackmaker series. Dust jacket is protected in an archival quality cover. There is a touch of edgewear at some corners and edges. However, the dj looks very nice in its protective cover. A treasured piece of Oklahoma biography and history available for immediate shipment, carefully packed in a sturdy box.

Find the nature and the activity of Satan. Understand the plan and purpose of God for you. Stand tall and victorious thru faith. On the dedication page there is writing in Spanish with a scripture reference. On pages 65 and 62 there are a couple of sentences highlighted and some underlining and marking in the margin. Flipping through the book these are the only instances I found; it is possible there could be a couple more. A nice copy that has seen very little use, no spine creasing, not ex-libris, no folded or dogeared pages, no foxing, no smudges. A quite nice copy; available for immediate shipment carefully packed.

In this portrayal of La Salle's life and explorations it becomes apparent to the reader that Robert Cavelier de La Salle was a man whose single-minded ambition made him one of the greatest explorers of his time. Volume has a touch of wear at the head and tail of the spine and along the outer edges. Flipping through the book I find no underlining, no highlighting, no bookplates, no owner names, not ex-libris, no folded or dogeared pages, nof foxing, no smudges. Bauman stamped in black; rest of interior of book is clean. A number of black & white photographs throughout the book. In quite nice shape for being more than 3/4 of a century old.
