About This Item
New York: Arcade Publishing, 2013. Soft cover. Very Good+. A 244 page history that includes an author's note, fourteen chapters, an epilogue, a bibliographical note, notes and an index. In this portrayal of La Salle's life and explorations it becomes apparent to the reader that Robert Cavelier de La Salle was a man whose single-minded ambition made him one of the greatest explorers of his time. Volume has a touch of wear at the head and tail of the spine and along the outer edges. Flipping through the book I find no underlining, no highlighting, no bookplates, no owner names, not ex-libris, no folded or dogeared pages, nof foxing, no smudges. A quite presentable copy, available for immediate shipment, carefully packed!
