This handbook was first published in 1921 as the Anglo-South American Handbook, founded and compiled by William Henry Koebel (1872-1923), a prolific author who had a particular interest in promoting trade with South America. It was compiled as a guide to South America, as well as Mexico and Cuba, for the business traveler, and published by the Federation of British Industry. Much advertising and promotional information on banks, steamship travel/tours, communication, products, etc., including ads on inside covers. With many line-drawn maps within text and one large color folded map following Index in the front section of the book. Interior is Very Good Plus, clean and unworn. Exterior moderately rubbed and scuffed at extremities, with frayed spine tips. Binding tight.
