Boston: Lothrop, Lee & Shepard Co., 1906 Light aqua cloth with red and black cover and spine illustrations and lettering. First in the Pigeon Camp Series; two subsequent volumes series were published in 1907. All original volumes by this author are scarce. With six black-and-white illustrations within the text, including frontispiece. Advertisements for other publications by this publisher in rear. Light cover edgewear. Sunning to cover cloth has resulted in moderately browned spine and margins. Neat prior owner name and date on front endpaper. Small (2" x 1/4" half-moon damp stain at lower edge of title and Contents pages. Otherwise clean and tight.
