Family association copy with the small ownership label of W.B. Drummond to each front pastedown. Attractive example in very good original state of this well researched study.

Disbound in remains of early full leather binding, light dampstaining to Drelincourt frontispiece, final two leaves of 'Human Life Represented' and closing endpapers; sporadic browning and wear. This is the "Twenty Sixth" edition of Drelincourt on Death, published by Nuttall, Fisher and Dixon, Liverpool, 1810. Of much greater scarcity is Josiah Hills closing sermon bound in afterwards, of which we have been unable to trace further copies or information.

Attractive example of this early edition.

With bass clef musical notation for every hymn. This edition bears no date but its paper, typeface and inscriptions put it approximately between 1850 and 1860, and certainly no later than 1871.
