First edition; octavo; [2],viii, 73, [1], 134, [4],135-344, [2]pp. In contemporary full leather (a little worn), five raised spine bands between gilt double fillets, gilt double fillets to board edges, two early ink ownership names to front endpapers, opening leaves somewhat spotted, lacks divisional titles to the 'Three Discourses' and to first part of 'Explanatory Notes', otherwise clean and complete including divisional title to second part of 'Explanatory Notes' and closing advertisement leaf. Sound example of a very scarce edition; ESTC T221552, citing just 1xUK institutional holding and no copies in the US.
