About This Item
C & H. Fine+. 1986. First Edition. Softcover. Fine Plus. 28 pages. Indexed. Illustrated. New in the original mailer. This is a product cookbook from C & H Sugar intended to help teach children baking skills. Laid in is the "Dear Grownups:" letter explaining the method used to encourage even the youngest of children to become a "Cookie Maker." From the letter, "As young children do not yet understand fractions, measurements are given in standard cup and spoon sizes. For example 1/2 C. (&) 1/4 C instead of 3/4C." Illustrations throughout make this a very friendly-to-use book. Recipes are clearly written in step-by-step format and short word instructions. This is a real treat (no pun intended!). None available within the trade. Gift Quality. Uncommon. ; 8vo .
