About This Item

Amsterdam: De Hoogebrug, 1921. Decorative Cloth. Collectible; Very Good. The 4th year, 3rd issue of this very high-quality art monthly published out of Amsterdam just after World War I. Wendingen: An Illustrated Magazine of the Arts of "Architectura et Amicitia". "This number is dedicated to the East-Asiatic Art of the collection "Petrucci" in Amsterdam, with accompanying text by Henri Borel, Dr. Karl With, Count Hermann Keyserling and A. Vecht". The text consists of Henri Borel's background of the collector Raphael Petrucci and 18 beautiful full-page gravures of the collection (with captions). This fragile folio volume has held up nicely: Solid and VG in its ribbon-tied decorative panels. Light wear along the spine and at the panel edges. Very small former owner name and date to the title page as well, otherwise very clean.
