About This Item
Tarzana, CA Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc. , 1931. Hardcover First Edition (1931); later printing. Near Fine in Very Near Fine DJ: The Book shows only minute indications of use: the barest hint of rubbing to the extremities; else flawless; the binding is square and secure; the text is clean. Former owner's name neatly inscribed in ink at the top of the front free endpaper. A handsome, nearly-new copy, structurally sound and tighly bound, showing just a touch of wear and a single, albeit serious flaw. Nevertheless, very close to 'As New'. The DJ shows very light wear to the extremities; faint soiling - or is that foxing - at the yellow tinted backsrtrip and to the white background field of the rear panel; else flawless; unclipped; mylar-protected. No longer quite pristine, but remains very close to it. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. 8vo. (7.8 x 5.5 x 1 inches). 318 pages. Illustrated with a duotone frontispiece by Studley O. Burroughs. Beige paper over boards with blue titles at the front panel and with blue titles and designs at the backstrip.Deckle Fore-Edge. Tinted Top Edge. Language: English. Weight: 14.5 ounces. First Edition (1931); later printing. Hardback with DJ.
