Publisher's original blue cloth elaborately blocked and lettered in gilt to front cover and spine; all page edges gilt; blue coated endpapers In very good condition. Some minor rubbing to edges and corners a little bumped. Two small nicks head of spine. Very slight lean to binding. Inside some light foxing on early pages, pages 16-17 have some faint offsetting from possibly a bookmark, rear endpaper small nick lower corner, else inside pages all clean and tight throughout. A lovely copy. 389pp. Many b&w illustrations by Chris Hammond.
