Publisher's original turquoise-blue cloth, lettered in gilt on the spine, sm 4to. This is volume 2 of a 3 volume set that presents the Scientific Results of the Japan Expeditions to Nepal Himalaya in 1952-1953. Each volume was on a different subject. In 1951 Nepal opened its borders to scientific exploration. This Japanese expedition was one of several expeditions to explore Nepal in the early 1950s. Signature of E. W.
