About This Item
Kobenhavn; (1914): H. Hagerup. Small Quarto. 141 pages, 56 illustrations. Danish language. Professor Ole Olufsen was a Danish military officer and explorer who became the Secretary of the Royal Danish Geographical Society whose travels across Asia and Africa also involved careful sociological and cultural observations across North Africa from Algiers to Tunisia. This is the scarce original hardcover edition (later in the year a cheap paper copy was issued). Only recorded copies on OCLC at Yale, Stanford, Wisconsin and Northwestern as well as Danish and German libraries. Bound in 3/4 calf over marbled paper covered boards, decorative endpapers. A very nice copy with light rubbing along joints.
