Endpapers include 4 full-page advertisements for Mellin's Food, Wright's Coal Tar Soap, Neave's Food, and Plasmon Cocoa. The approximate date of publication reflects the information in those ads. The book is in very good condition: clean and tight, with occasional light foxing; edges of paper on boards are rubbed--worn through to boards at corners.. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good. Illus. by Various Illustrators. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Book.
