New York: Alfred A. Knopf, 1945. Cloth. Good. Maroon cloth. No jacket. 279 pp., plus index. Black and white photos throughout. Originally published as a limited edition by the Derrydale Press, under the title Game in the Desert. A discussion of hunting tactics and game of the Southwest United States, including mule deer, the desert bighorn, the pronghorn antelope, mountain lion, coyote and various game birds. GOOD condition. General fading, minor scuffing and edgewear, with very light soiling. Sporadic dampstaining affecting the lower 2 inches of the pages throughout, most noticeable on the illustration pages. Page edges foxed.
