Marlborough, Mass: Pratt Brothers, 1886. Octavo. 280 pages, index alphabetically arranged. Feltons are found in virtually every state of the union. While they initially settled in Salem, they eventually moved to the Carolinas and across the country. John B. Felton, a former Oakland, California mayor, a judge and a San Francisco Bay Area investor in his day, the town is a historic logging community (see page 224-225 for a fuller description). Fenton's first work was published in 1877, a pamphlet consisting of only 19 pages and of only 70 copies which sold out in 9 months. This new edition gives the account of over 300 families. Bound in brown cloth, spine lettering silver.
