3 Letters:
• ALS to Gladys Balder (?), 6 January ?, re the Sea Island "is a dream of Beauty", cannot go there during the winter, Isaac Wick was there last year.
• TLS from Maxwell Droke Publishers, 29 December 1937, re her favorite anecdote; ALS reply on verso from Baldwin re an amusing story about Fannie Hurst living in Brooklyn, having four children, and spending "money like a drunken sailor".
1 Signed Typescript:
• Signed ts., "Any Village", 1 p., n.d. but circa 1971 when the book by this title was published.
2 Books signed and one with poem:
• George Middleton, Tradition and Other One-Act Plays. New York: Henry Holt and Company, 1913. Blackish blue cloth, top edge gilt. Baldwin's signature is pasted on the front pastedown. In addition, she has penned a signed poem (2 pp.), "A Woman's Life", on the front endpaper and fly leaf.
• Arizona Star. New York: Farrar & Rinehart, Inc., 1945. Light grey cloth in price-clipped dust jacket with a few tears and several nicks. Book plate on the front pastedown signed by Baldwin.
2 Photos one with Xmas card:
• B&w photo signed on the front for Russ Grant; on the verso Baldwin makes reference to King Kong and Roving Beach and notes that photo was taken in the 1930s or 1940s.
• Christmas 1940 card with b&w photo. "This is a joyous season But to speak of the past year has brought uncertainty...."
8 Ephemera:
• Autograph post card, post-dated 29 December 1941, to Donald Clark, "I am just out of the hospital so a postcard must serve".
• Autograph post card to Mr. Berg, 21 September 1946, would have replied sooner, "What a beautiful first name you have!"
• Custom postal cover of Baldwin and some of her works, signed by Baldwin, post-marked 12 June 1930, featuring original mixed media illustration by notable collector H.M. Brehm, San Diego, California.
• 3 autograph post cards to Jim Schendel, [1961], 30 September 1963, and 12 October 1964, hoping that his hobby pays off handsomely, thanking him, that she'll be away in October 1964.
• Card with a prayer poem on the front (9 lines, inside of the card printed in red, "FAITH BALDWIN CUTHRELL", with envelope in Baldwin's hand addressed to Rabbi Kurt Metzer, post-marked 8 December 1960.
• Card signed for John Kavanaugh, n.d. ("I'm autographing Both sides to be sure").
