• ALS to Mr. Clemens (Samuel Clemens? i.e. Mark Twain?), 20 June [1898-1900], re Arthur T. Vance, editor of the Women's Home Companion, might publish one of his short stories ("Love, the Leveller") for $50, "Flowers on a Grave" considered to be too sombre.
• ALS addressed "Dear Sir" (a publisher), 7 December [1898-1900], re publication of his poem, "Pride of Nations".
• ALS addressed "Dear Sir", Monday, n.d., Union Club letterhead, asking for a copy of the journal published 4 years ago containing his biography.

• "The Unpardonable Sin, a Play in Four Acts", [2], 46, [1], 29, [1], 16, [1], 22 pp., n.d. The ts. is housed inside a black limp leather duotang folder, pieces missing from the folder's spine, typed label on the front cover.
1 Book (signed presentation copy):
• Olivia Delapaine Boston: Ticknor & Co., 1888. Dark green cloth. 476 pp. plus ads. First edition of this novel. BAL 5368, first state binding. Signed presentation copy to the Canadian poet and author, Charles G.D. Roberts: "To my friend, | Chas. G.D. Roberts, Esq., | with the ever-grateful | regards of | Edgar Fawcett. | New York. | June, 1888." A very good copy with some rubbing and wear to the cloth and a tiny gouge to the upper spine. In 1884 Roberts wrote an article on Fawcett, praising Fawcett for his "intolerance of slovenly workmanship" in literature.

• Addressed to his publisher, J.B. Lippincott & Co., [1889], with the title of his book, A Demoralizing Marriage.
