(iv), 208, (vi); (vi), 207, (v) pages; Contents of both volumes clean and secure in contemporary bindings of handsome black half-leather with 5 raised bands at spines, marbled boards and marbled endpapers. Some scattered foxing to initial leaves and concluding leaves; some crazing at spine, rubbed a bit at extremities. An attractive set. Gilt titles in second compartments and volume number in third compartments. Title pages printed in Red & Black. Set Number 199 of a Limited Edition of only 200 copies; both books numbered 199. Silk place ribbons. Tome I with vignette medallion portrait of Voltaire, Tome II vignette of Grecourt. Each author's contribution has a title page and an egraved in-text illustration; first volume has 21 illustrations and second volume has 25 illustrations. Voltaire's pieces begin with: L'Education d'un Prince. Grecourt's begin with Le Cuisinier Scrupuleux. Tome Premier (iv), 208, (vi); Tome Second (vi), 207, (v). .
