London: W. Strahan and M. Woodfall for P. Uriel [39], ii-lxxiii, 1-23, 23*, 24-291pp, [3], n.d. but 1771. Contemporary full calf, raised bands, spine in six panels, title label to second panel. Head cap chipped with some loss, minor splits to joints, but holding well on cords, corners worn, slightly rubbed to extremities. Browning to edges of pastedowns and free endpapers, text lightly browned, small piece excised from corner of ffep. Previous owners name to head of ffep (Thomas Preston - the radical?), and a book label to front pastedown with the owners name scratched out. The final leaf is an advertisement for Law books sold by P. Uriel. Maxwell and Maxwell, page 386; ESTC T184869, showing only six locations worldwide. First Edition. Hardback. Good. 8vo.
