About This Item
First Edition/First Printing with the complete number line: A Fine book in a Fine dust jacket with no visible flaws. SIGNED by the author on the title page. An outstanding copy of this novel, the 3rd in Paolini's Inheritance Trilogy (now longer than a trilogy!); this volume getting uncommon in the first printing and in F/F condition, particularly signed. Not remaindered, not price clipped, not ex-library; in a fresh Mylar sleeve and will ship carefully wrapped in a sturdy box.
Synopsis
Brisingr, or The Seven Promises of Eragon Shadeslayer and Saphira Bjartskular, is the third book in the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini. It was released in the United States and other English-speaking countries on September 20, 2008. Originally, the novel was intended to be the last in the Inheritance Cycle, but this changed when Paolini decided that the series was too complex to conclude in one book.
Reviews
I HATED this boring and bloated book. Note to Christopher Paolini: You do not need to give every little event in a book its own chapter! Nobody cares about dwarf politics!
This series keeps getting better and better. The characters become more complex, and the plot has an unexpected turn every chapter or two. Roran by far is my favorite character has taken a lot onto his shoulders in this book, its great seeing him step up to make his own way and not be in his brothers shadow. The Varden really step it up too, its great reading about the internal working of the rebels. On top of that the bad guys are getting more evil, if that is possible. I really recommend this book. If you have not read this series I suggest starting it soon! I would compare it to a blend of star wars and lord of the rings.
