About This Item

Chicago: Saalfield, 1919. Hardcover. Fair. Pictorial cloth. 239pp. Frontispiece portrait of Pershing. This copy is apparently signed by the famous Western art historian and author, Harold McCracken. McCracken was instrumental in the development of the Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody. What is neat about this association copy is that McCracken printed his name nicely on the front paste down and dated it 1919 when he was 25 years old. Facing that on the ffep is his handwritten name and address in Anaconda, Montana. The front hinge of this copy is broken and desires repair. The cloth is lightly soiled.
