New York: David McKay Company, 1973. An "inside story" tell-all about the New York art scene, rather scholarly, footnoted. (Things probably haven't changed much since this was originally written.) This is a Near Fine copy of the Second Printing of the First Edition. Purple cloth binding, embossed with a Roy Lichtenstein briushstroke, gilt lettering on the spine. Clean text; 395 pages, indexed. Previous-owner signature on the FFEP, small bookstore sticker on the rear endpapers, else Fine. The dustjacket is unclipped, with just a bit of wrinkling, mostly confined to the rear panel. In an archival plastic protector. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Second Printing.. Hard Cover. Near Fine/Near Fine.
