About This Item

Ithaca, New York, U.S.A.: American Journal of Psychology, Publisher, 1940. Wraps. Good. Printed wraps. Offprint from the October 1940 issue of the American Journal of Psychology. With a few photos. In this Boring and Holway, discussing their experiments and findings with regard to the perceived size mirrored images of the moon and sun at the horizon versus other heights in the sky. Edwin Boring was an American experimental psychologist, involved with intelligence testing during World War I, as well as optical illusion research. This resulted in the 'Boring Figure' as well as noted research in the appearance of the moon (see Wikipedia). GOOD+ condition. Uneven fading and toning to the wraps. Light curling at the corners.
