Toronto: Peter A. Gross. Good with no dust jacket. 1877. First Edition. Leather. Xvi, 17-384 pp. " together with A Key to the Publisher's Bird's-Eye View of the City. Illustrated with over sixty Pages of Colored Lithographs." Full dark green leather with blind ruling and brilliant gilt, rebacked with original spine laid down, polished marble edges, original blue endpapers (rear endpaper replaced) with old owner bookplate. Text and plates within ruled borders, each plate has a tissue guard. A very nice copy of this look at Toronto nearly 150 years ago. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 384 pages .
