Boston: Houghton Mifflin, 1916. Hardcover. Very Good. #340 of 750 editions. 10 volume manuscript edition in original green, small pebbled cloth, edges uncut, brown leather labels with titles in gilt. Spines have dulled to tan and leather labels are variously darkened and chipped with some loss to gilt. Internals are near fine, solid bindings all around. No previous owner names or bookplates. Each volume with duotone forntispiece and tissue guard. Tipped in manuscript sheet describes ice formations, waterfalls, and a glacier associated with a moraine damn. Manuscripts editions are not that common on the market today. AMERICAN WEST CALIFORNIA.
