Edward Arnold, 1901. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1901. Fifth Impression. 259 pages. No dust jacket. Decorative brown cloth with gilt lettering. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout. Heavier tanning and foxing to front and rear pages. Rear hinge cracked with exposed netting. Previous owner's inscription stuck to front pastedown. Rough cut pages. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. White liquid stain to front board. Gilt lettering to spine is darkened.
