The grey boards are in acceptable shape with no scratches or tears; minimal to no fraying along the edges, but there is a bit more wear on the bottom edges and foot and crown of the spine from shelf rubbing. There is an ancient round cup stain on the front, long since faded and dried, and some age spots, but these are not obtrusive and blend in with the background. They do not go through the board. The inside pages are in very good condition; no writing, highlighting, marks, rips, or tears. There is some mild light yellowing on the very outer edges of the pages, but none to the text. No stains, spots, or age spots on the pages. The hardback boards are in GOOD condition with frayed corners on front and back, fray along the foot and crown of the spine, and with fraying along the bottom edges from shelf rubbing.The front board has some discoloration along the outer edges and the middle. There are some scratches and spotting on front and back, but it is minimal, and one fray/tear on the front, but it does not mar the book. There is an old faint water stain on pages 18-19, but it doesn't interfere with the text. There is some yellowing on the outside edges of the pages, but also not to the text.The laminated dust cover is in GOOD condition with some tears and rips; it has a tear on the front cover over the "Together" word from an ancient sticker, long gone; there is a tear on the bottom front cover and a vertical scratch next to it, but it blends in with the background. There is some fraying along the top front and back edges. The spine jacket has visible fraying on the crown and foot of the spine from shelf rubbing, and fraying/spotting on the spine jacket with the white paper showing through the black dye a bit.
