A spectacular copy, binding flexible and tight. Contents completely fresh and clean. Second issue with the correction on p. 108 of Vol. II. Engraved frontispiece, 225 illustrations. Theodore Hoe (his sale 1911) to Theodore Low De Vine (his sale 1920). Lovely books.

Contents free of marking or foxing, discoloration to the two blank inside papers. Laid paper of a high quality. xxiii, 102 pages ; 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾". Reprints the English translation of 1587. An often over-looked fine press book with interesting typography. The fount in which the book is printed was reconstructed from the remaining characters of a fount designed and made by Peter Schoeffer.
