Description:
New York and London: Harcourt Brace Jovanovich, 1980. First edition of Warhol's sensational 1980 memoir. Octavo, original boards, illustrated with photographs. Boldly signed by Andy Warhol on the front free endpaper. Near fine in a near fine dust jacket. Additionally signed by Warhol on the front panel of the dust jacket. The man whose pictures, parties, films, and life-style set the tone for the sixties here reveals the man behind the Pop mask. In this book, for the first time, he gives the story of the sixties as he lived them, from his initial conquest of the New York art world to the intimate scene at the Factory where he brushed shoulders with such celebrities as Tennessee Williams, Jim Morrison, William S. Burroughs and Jane Fonda and superstars Nico, Viva, and Ultra Violet. Now, looking back more than a decade later, Warhol coolly assesses the whole Pop phenomenon and his place in it in a unique, informal, and absolutely fascinating book.

London: Quartet Books, 1979. First edition of the award-winning journalist's work. Quarto, original cloth, photographs by Donald McCullin. Fine in a near fine dust jacket. Cover design by Mike Jarvis. In this book, I have focused particularly upon the Palestinians who are in exile in the Lebanon, in the belief that they are the spearhead of the Palestinian Resistance to which the overwhelming majority of Palestinians in the diaspora and under occupation owe their allegiance. The conflict in the Middle East will be solved only when Palestinians and Israelis are able to work out their joint salvation with each other" (Jonathan Dimbleby, Introduction).

Description:
New York: The Macaulay Company, 1931. First edition, second printing of socialite Cornelius Vanderbilt Jr.'s classic novel set in 1930s Palm Beach. Octavo, original cloth. In very good condition. Vanderbilt's Palm Beach concerns the debutante daughter of a captain of finance and the clash between her ideas of a desirable husband and those prevailing in the circles of bargaining matchmakers. She comes to Palm Beach fresh from finishing school, eager to join the gayest entertainments of the season with an unspoiled capacity for enjoying herself.
