This two-volume, French-language set remains in good- condition after almost 150 years. Spine straight, binding tight. Both volumes, but especially Volume II, have heavy wear to cover tips and top and bottom of spine. As the author writes in his introductory biography of the 17th century French dramatist and travel writer: "La vie de Regnard est aussi curieuse que son théatre est amusant. S'il est tout de conmédie et de farce, elle est toute de roman et d'aventures ..."

This book, published in 1939, is a very readable copy of medical help for people with foot problems. Overall, the contents are in good condition. A few pages have been folded in the upper right corner. There are two slips of paper on the back flyleaf, one a sales form for "plunge pails" sold by a research company, the other is something cut from a newspaper or magazine with information on medical conditions. There is a hand written comment on the back flyleaf extolling the measures of foot care. Problems: THERE IS A VERY STRONG MUSTY ODOR. The dust jacket has folds and tears, and also shows foxing on the back cover

HANDSOME COPY in very good condition. Text in English and Spanish. The book's 287 pages are packed with beautiful color photographs of orchids found on the island of Cuba. Dust jacket is intact with slight shelf wear; spine has no signs of creasing. Book's cover corner tips slightly bumped. Previous owner's name written in ink at top of first free flyleaf; store address sticker on inside back cover. Interior pages otherwise are clean and not marred by notes or folds of any kind.

This copy is in very good condition, especially for its age. Binding it tight and pages are clean with no writing, markings, or underlining. Pull-out map and its envelope are in very good condition. "Oregon: End of the Trail" provides a snapshot of life in the Beaver State at the end of the Great Depression.

Both volumes pristine. Vol 1 has the map at the end. Vol 2 has an errata slip at the back of the book.
