Guidebook and recreational map of the Thames River. Condition: Overall Very Good. The cloth has rather bright gilt and has remained relatively clean with only moderate soil. (Because such a map is often used on water, damage is not uncommon.) Extremities are rubbed; some foxing, age-toning, and soiling to map.

An exciting pre-conservation ramble through rugged Indian hills and jungles where truly dangerous creatures lived. Relates interesting material on many local animals. Wonderfully illustrated.<br/> <br/> Very Good condition. Light uniform age-toning to pages; clean unfoxed engravings with occasional small and light smudges in margins. Original pictorial tite page has slight soil to margins. Solid and unmarked copy with slight cocking. Cloth has minimal wear and gilt retains considerable brightness.

LARGE & HEAVY: 6 lbs. 8 oz. DEFINITIVE illustrated study of the subject. SUPERIOR CONDITION: tight, bright, clean, solid copy with excellent bright, unfoxed plates. Touch plates are in superb shape and retain tissue guards laid in. Spine faded but completely in tact; very slight color variation on back cover caused by book having been shelved beside a smaller book and sunning effects.
