Spine ends missing and crack in spine cover. Paper on corners worn though and bottom corners gently rubbed and rounded, mildly soiled. Endpapers mildly toned and foxing throughout although worst at prelims. Lovely little volume.

Internally some minor spotting not affecting plates, mild tanning to endpapers and a couple of cracked gutters. Small repair to third leaf. Glorious, fine illustrations. A very nice example of this scarce and desirable volume. 4to
