1883. No binding. 4 x 1-3/4 inch with name inked on card and dated (4/30/83) and Montreal (location). Henry George Vendoreologist was an ornithologist, and meteorologist and born in Montreal. From 1865 to 1880 he was on the staff of the Geological Survey of Canada. In 1877 he published the first of his Vennor almanacs, in which he ventured, with surprising success, to predict the weather. As an ornithologist, his chief work was Our birds of prey (Montreal, 1876). He died in Montreal on June 8, 1884.
