Elton John was at his most successful between 1970 and 1976, and this 1971 book features many musings from cultural critics about his brilliance as a songwriter and performer, very early in his rise to fame. The book contains 30 pages of biographical information in the form of quotes from Elton John, Bernie Taupin, and contemporary cultural critics, as well as historical black-and-white photographs.
