Offutt was an avid science fiction author noted for "Conan"-themed fantasies, debuted as a published writer in 1951, and wrote 100s of erotic novels pseudonymously as John Cleve, Turk Winter, John Denis, Jeff Morehead, and Opal Andrews. Linda was a mainstay in nude modeling, generally posed without wig to show long straight chestnut hair, and also known as Linda Schmidt, Megan Schmidt (Schmitz), Laura Lynnwood. Here she is seen non-nude, fully clothed, more elegance than explicitness, and Victorian prop furniture and picture frames joining the scene, including a neat hourglass end table, suggest the work of Ron Vogel or Keith Bernard, or a Parliament News staff photographer. 8 x 10 inches, b/w cropping notations inside small white border on recto, small whiteout on the recto, name in ditto and numerical notations on the verso. Border notations state the image was published as page 10A in "Linda," an unseen one-shot monograph devoted to the model. Very Good Plus, with a small edge tear with cello-tape repair on the verso, and corner bump.

First Edition, square 16mo, 6.5 x 6.5 inches, 8-page booklet with math games on 11 cardstock leaves, housed in folding die-cut (circle, square, triangle) paper chemise. Presumably the work of longtime SA contributor, Martin Gardner, circa 1970s, to "add some spots of color and fun to your holiday season. The two spinning illusions may seem at first to be non-mathematical." This kit was likely issued to subscribers as a promotion. Game 1: "65 tiny squares are to be cut out for use in some of the games," with some ESP elements, even though the grid is 8 x 8 (64 squares). Some of the squares have been cut out, and 1 square is absent. Other games: Nine Men's Morris, Hex, The 16 Soldiers, Daisy Game, Pop-Up Dodecahedron, Tangrams, Subjective Color Disk, Concentric Circles, and The Jungle Game.
